Australia is a unique place. It always was. Many of the first Europeans to set foot here didn't really try to understand this place, its unique animals or the people who called this land home. I am still shocked at how little the Europeans seemed to care for what was living here. Where was their curiosity? Where was their empathy? What would Australia look like today if instead of conquering this place we had stepped into a caring relationship with all that was here?

I get amazing energy if I think a film can be entertaining as well as make a difference. It doesn't always have to be a film. I love any medium that explores this miraculous experience called life.
